IE3 Global Internship: Marine Biology Research and Education in Ireland
Develop a broad range of skills, such as marine mammal identification and survey techniques on a boat, land, and snorkeling. Participate in research or hone environmental education skills. For more information, visit the Marine Biology Research and Education in Ireland webpage
Sea Education Association (SEA): Climate Change & Coastal Resilience
Spend 12 weeks examining how climate change impacts island societies and what strategies actually work to build resilience, combining classroom work in Woods Hole with research and community engagement.

School for Field Studies (SFS): Marine Resource Studies in Turks and Caicos Islands
Receive a diver certification while learning about marine survey methods and researching coral reefs, seagrass meadows, and mangroves. OSU Faculty Led: Sustainability in Action: Small Island State Ecological Systems, Culture & Society - Aruba
Engage with Aruba's natural resource management and industry sites, including marine-based tourism and renewable energy facilities like the Vader Piet wind farm. Visit ecosystem
restoration sites (coral reefs, mangrove swamps) to cultural and historic landmarks (art galleries, museums).

IE3 Global Internship: Cape Town Marine, Wildlife and Environmental Conservation
Choose from multiple placement options including: Eland husbandry at the Cape Town Environmental Education Trust, husbandry and behavioral monitoring of marine species at Two Oceans Aquarium, and husbandry and enrichment for penguins at the South African Foundation of the Conservation of Coastal Birds. IE3 Global: James Cook University Queensland, Austrialia
Study coastal and marine science in Queensland, Australia. Develop skills in seabed mapping, sonar assessments, marine technologies and study directly in the Great Barrier Reef with James Cook University's own research station.
IE3 Global Internship: Shark Conservation, Research, and Fieldwork in South Africa

IE3 Global: Galapagos Academic Institute for the Arts Sciences (GAIAS), Ecuador
